We are open most Sunday mornings from 10:00am and Wednesdays from 7:15pm if you would like to watch our training and talk with our Instructors.

Mainstream Training Classes
For dogs of any age past 26 weeks and upwards, we offer a progressive range of classes, starting with Beginners through our highest Class 5.
The next intake for the Beginners Class is on Sunday 5th Sept and Wednesday 8th Sept 2010 when an Induction talk will be given to all new starters.
After these dates we will continue to accept new dogs into classes until Weds 22nd September

Puppy Classes
For dogs aged between 12 and 18 weeks.

Visit us any Tuesday evening for a 7:30pm start.

We will introduce you to the KC Puppy Foundation Award as the first step on the ladder to all the awards available under the KC Good Citizen Dog Scheme

Junior Classes
For dogs aged between 19 and 26 weeks.

Visit us any Tuesday evening for an 8:30pm start and prepare your dog before stepping up to our Mainstream Class lessons.

Companion Dog Show
This years show takes place on Sat 16th October

Missed the Intake ?
If your dog is up to 6 months old, why not consider our Junior Class at 8:30 Tuesdays.
For older dogs, you do not have to wait until the next intake dates. Just come to the club on Sundays and Wednesdays, socialise your dog and pick up tips from our Instructors.

Prepare for Training
If you are new to the club and are planning to start training, please consider the following:
- Week 1 Puppy Class only will be conducted indoors, other classes will work outside
- We may look to use the car park area if the field is particulary wet. Please follow parking instructions from attendants.
- Where the field is to be used, please use sturdy waterproof footwear
- Always bring with you a plentiful supply of 'small' treats as a reward for your dogs efforts
- Also, bring along a special toy - Now's the time to make good use of all those Xmas presents your dogs enjoyed opening

NDTC wins prestigious KC Good Citizen Dog Scheme (GCDS) Awards
On Friday 12th February 2010 representatives from NDTC vitisted the Kennel Club Headquarters in London to be selected as winners in the
Registered Training Clubs category. This is an excellent result for the club who were runners-up in the same category in 2008.

Kennel Club Chairman, Ronnie Irving, said, “The winners have all done marvellous work in promoting responsible dog ownership in their local community and all deserve a huge vote of thanks. We are grateful for their enthusiasm and dedication, and offer our appreciation for helping us make a positive difference for dogs and their owners.”

Additionally, NDTC was chosen as the overall winner of the GCDS Awards for their dedication, committment and outstanding support in promoting
the scheme in 2009.

* That's right! - As a Member of Nuneaton Dog Training Club we offer classes covering basic obedience and various other activities for which we only charge £1 for each lesson attended, whatever it may be (Agility, Fly-ball, Scenting or Competition Obedience), and with membership costing just £10 per year for a single membership, it is not surprising that, with 1000+ members, we are one of the largest dog training clubs in the country.

Established in 1959 and registered with the Kennel Club, we provide a progressive class structure that incorporates the Kennel Club Good Citizen Award Scheme at no extra cost.

Nuneaton Dog Training Club is run by happy band of Volunteer Instructors who between them have accumulated 80 years of experience training all kinds of dogs. From problem dogs to Pedigree pooches, NDTC has someone who can advise you how to get the very best out of your dog.

The Club aims specifically not to train the dogs, but to instruct handlers in the training of their own dogs to levels of behavior and obedience required.

Fundamentals of Patience, Kindness, Firmness and Persistence are carried through all training classes to help ensure both dog and owner achieve desired results with a consistent approach throughout.

With regular scheduled classes to suit all levels of ability, from young puppy to mature dog, NDTC can offer you and your dog every opportunity to attain the standards you so desire.

In addition to the basic Training Classes the Club also supports special activities for Agility, Fly-ball, Demonstration, Competition Obedience and Scenting.

Each year the Club runs it's own Exemption Dog Show and Open Fun-day and organizes regular social events for all it's Members.
