For Dogs 6 months and above

Mainstream Training Workshop Due to the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, we have been working on offering members, the opportunity to return to mainstream training on Wednesday evening and Sunday mornings. We are excited to offer an 10-week Mainstream Training workshop to NDTC members. BRONZE WORKSHOP SILVER WORKSHOP (members must have passed their KCGCDS Bronze award) At the end of the 10-week workshop, the member has the opportunity to, take the Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze/Silver Award Assessment, with an invited Kennel Club registered assessor. Each week the group will cover separate elements of the workshop. At the beginning of each week's session, there will be a recap on the previous week’s content, to see how the practice at home went, and any questions and queries. Places will be booked on a first come first served basis and should be pre- booked as per the attached details. Each group in the workshop will have a group of 5 handlers (and dogs) with 1 instructor. Contactless payment is required on the first session of £30 this breaks down to £3 per session. Each workshop will run for 30 minutes. The workshops shall be run at the following times: Wednesday: BRONZE 19:15 BRONZE 20:00 SILVER 20:00 Sunday: BRONZE 10:00 BRONZE 11:00 SILVER 11:00 When you register for the workshop, you will be able to indicate your preferred day/time. Please note: you must have submitted your membership application form and have received your membership number before requesting a place in a class, as you will need your membership number to complete your class request. IMPORTANT NOTICE: The current 10 week workshops are now fully booked. Your booking form will be used as a priority booking for the next available workshops. Read The KC Good Citizen Dog Scheme – Bronze Award Or Silver Award 4. Read Welcome to the Nuneaton Dog Training Club letter, prior to arriving. 5. Read The Kennel Club Canine Code. Please download and reveiw the THE KENNEL CLUB GOOD CITIZEN DOG SCHEME BRONZE AWARD DESCRIPTION OF EXERCISES: SILVER AWARD DESCRIPTION OF EXERCISES: We are not able to accept dogs with serious behavioural problems. Owners of such dogs are recommended to contact a dog behaviourist for one-to-one assessment and training as advised by the Kennel Club. To be able to attend these workshops you must be a member of Nuneaton Dog Training Club. Arrive 5 minutes before your class and leave straight after class Park with a single car park spaces between other cars. Keep 2 meters apart at all time Dogs to be kept on a lead unless requested by the instructor Feel free to bring hand sanitiser and face mask if you want too. The toilets will be open. The clubhouse will be locked/closed. Do not touch other dogs. All training is outside, so please bring wet weather clothing.
